P&D have supplied the #pontoon for the UK's biggest water sculpture, on display up until September 9th as part of the Great North Exhibition in Newcastle. The sculpture will perform on the hour (10am-11pm) every day of the exhibition, with three specially commissioned soundtracks available to download.There are 33 rocket jets laid out in a shape inspired by the Angel of the North on our pontoon in the centre of the River Tyne. These jets are choreographed to three specially commissioned music collaborations by Maximo Park and Kate Rusby with Royal Northern Sinfonia and Darkstar. The Get North Water Sculpture is visible right along the Newcastle Quayside and Gateshead Quays but is best viewed from the Newcastle Quayside, directly opposite Sage Gateshead, and whilst listening to the music.
